    I am putting the poor hen out of its misery tonight, with the help from a family member. No improvement and is obviously uncomfortable. Really sad to say, I love all my chickens and I really hope it was just an unfortunate injury and not a contajous disease. Thank you all for the help.

    Also her legs are not in a split position, but her abdomen is very bloated.
