    Hi all, I adopted some unwanted hens yesterday, one has lots of small black scabs on her comb. I currently have her isolated, she has no scabs on her eyes/mouth or missing feathers. I'm unsure if these scabs are from fighting as where she was collected from there was a number of birds all housed...

    Thanks, yes I hope it is a previous injury and not an on going infection. The second hen rescued has a very scabby comb but I'll start a new thread with that issue! Thanks again

    Hi lovely people, I rescued a couple of unwanted hens yesterday and when I've got them home for closer inspection one has a strange foot, swollen, deformed and sticking up back toe. It's looks as if there has been a cut at one stage across the front of the foot. I'm unsure it this has healed...
