Skipper I figured the only thing I could do with the roos that didnt sell would be to give them away. I'm certainly open to ideas. So Icelandic and Dominique are expensive chickens that might make it profitable? Thanks for your reply

Thanks chickassan. I've looked but it looks like they only have officialus, the yellow marigolds. Am I being too ticky trying tyo find the orange ones, do people just use the yellow ones?
I'm trying to find dried marigolds, specifically to make my hens' eggs orange. I understand that French (or African?) Marigolds, tagetes patula, make them orange. Does anyone know whereto buy these dried at a good price? Thank you
I'm sorry, no poo pics. I think the housesitter not changing the poop pans for two weeks caused maggots in the poop, I haven't seen further worm activity since I cleaned out the poop. But I SURE learned a helluva lot about keeping chickens in the thoughtful analytical interplay between the old...
I’ll check them out tonight when we get home. If they’re infested, is chicken wormer specific to the type of worm they have or do I just get a generic wormer? Cost is an issue but I won’t let them be uncomfortable.
