    My hen is sick. She is 2 years old. She's very lethargic, pale comb, feather loss around comb. I've checked for lice and mites, no sign. Also not egg bound. I lost my first hen about a month ago and she was showing the same symptoms. I just don't know how to help her!!!

    Yes in antibiotics, but tomorrow is last day. The odd shaped egg came first. Then the yolk. I didn't see any membrane. She seems a little more alert today, walking around and yesterday she wasn't walking. BTW...I'm so so thankful for your help

    I'm in Jacksonville FL. Mild Winters and hot summers. They will be 2 in August. I only have 4 and recently moved them to a much larger coop. Maybe that's stressing them? I feed them Purina laying feed pellets. Plus veggies and fruits leftovers.

    I'm starting to wonder if I'm missing something else. My other 3 girls aren't laying very often either...and the last egg I got was almost white, they have always been brown. They are also all missing alot of feathers...I've checked for mites but what if I'm missing them???
