That would be great. She was the last of my original group of chickens and she had been through so much. We had possums for a while then one raccoon that took a duck and injured a few. She had also been through a hurricane. I thought she was gonna live for a lot longer because of everything else...
A couple of days ago one of my hens started spending LOTS of time just laying on the ground. I picked her up one day and put her down but she fell and went right back to laying down. After putting her on her feet a few times, she was able to start walking around but she was really slow...
She actually prolapsed the other day and it took two days of putting the vent back in for it to stay. I think this will happen every couple of weeks and I'll just have to treat her every time
I went to check on her this morning and she had laid an egg and her vent had gone back in. All I did yesterday was soak her in a bath and put Prep H to get the swelling down. How long should I keep her in the garage before putting her back with the others?
I’ve read a few different things that say to put hemorroid cream on the vent to let the swelling go down and eventually it would go back in by itself. Would that work or should I push it back in?
I was going to put her in the bath and wait and see what everyone suggested I do. I don’t know if she laid an egg this morning or not. I have multiple ducks and it’s hard for me to tell who is laying.
I noticed my duck had a prolapsed vent this morning so I put her in my garage with the lights off and now there seems to be a lot of clear liquid leaking from her vent. I’m not sure how to treat the prolapsed vent so what should I do for that and what is the clear liquid??

Where is a good place to buy bulk later feed that’s not extremely expensive? I’m in the Baton Rouge, LA area and can’t find too many feed stores. Maybe I’m not looking hard enough?
Hi, this is my first time hatching eggs. I have six eggs and one of them has already hatched and is in the brooder. Another one just hatched but still has the shell stuck to its head and its stomach looks pretty big. It also looks like a red bump on its stomach that might be bleeding and one of...
