I noticed my duck had a prolapsed vent this morning so I put her in my garage with the lights off and now there seems to be a lot of clear liquid leaking from her vent. I’m not sure how to treat the prolapsed vent so what should I do for that and what is the clear liquid??

Here are some pictures

Im not sure. I had called around to vets when I first got the ducks but no one treated ducks and didn’t know of any other vets that would treat them

Have you put her in luke warm water to let her clean up? then while she is still in the water you can try yourself to push it gently back inside. Did she lay an egg and that's when this happened? If you have fingernails be careful not to cut her.

I was going to put her in the bath and wait and see what everyone suggested I do. I don’t know if she laid an egg this morning or not. I have multiple ducks and it’s hard for me to tell who is laying.

I’ve read a few different things that say to put hemorroid cream on the vent to let the swelling go down and eventually it would go back in by itself. Would that work or should I push it back in?
