Prolapse? Won’t stay in and looks strange

You have definitely the best you can for her. Most of the health issues I have with my ducks tends to be the same ones over and over again. Welshies, runners, Pekin, and khaki Campbells have had the most issues for me. They lay more eggs, so more issues.

You can try tube feeding her if you want. I would just start off with fluids like Gatorade. But I can understand it may be putting a lot of effort into something that may not help at all.

A lot of the supplies you can get at stores, like TSC. You can use aquarium tubing and melt the end in a pinch.
Interesting - my khakis seem to be my healthiest ducks thus far (knock on wood). I love the look of my Welsh ducks, but have had nothing but problems. My other welsh has had leg problems that took months to fix.

The more eggs they lay just the more chances they will have reproductive issues, but that doesn't necessarily mean they will. Hopefully your khaki continues being healthy.

Personally, I won't be getting Welshies again in the future. They are not as smart as the other breeds, which for free ranging is not good. I swear I think the color is associated with low IQ, because I recently got a call ducks with that coloring and she is not bright either. 😩 They are super sweet though. My drakes due tend to favor them more than they should for some reason.

I may be too late for this information I just read. Someone used Calcium citrate, an antibiotic and ointment to cure their chicken with a really bad prolapse. I don't know if that could help your duck or not. It took three weeks of treatment with the Calcium citrate and 10 days of 250mg of amoxicillin along with the ointment. I know you have already put a lot of time into trying to save her but I just wanted to share this in case you thought it might be worth a try.
Is that why the tissue around the vent is purple? What would cause that, egg laying?
