    Pure RIR or Mix?

She looks like rhode island to me. She isn't up to show standard, which is probably why you thought she is bit off! :)

    Introducing chicks to chicks?

It depends on some factors. How old are the new chicks? What is the size difference between the two? What is the breed of the chicks in question?

Wanting to add Ducks, help me pick!

As for the question for how many to start, try for maybe 3-4 hens. They can be a lot of work, but it so worth it!

Wanting to add Ducks, help me pick!

Cayuga are wonderful! They tend to be quiet and very friendly. They can't fly, and can be dual purpose. Cayuga are my favorite. And they are gorgeous when they get their plumage! You can find more cayuga info at metzerfarms.com as well as many other breeds!

Are my eggs ok to eat?

I would probably err on the safe side, and not consume the eggs. I would wait until your hens are feeling better, and there is no goo on the eggs.

    Chicken bleeding

x2. You need to do something with the roosters. Rotating them will just make their lives miserable. Maybe set up a thread in your local forum? Someone might be willing to take a roo.

It is the same. All (poultry) eggs develop much in the same way. This is a chicken chart.

    High nest box with Broody

I agree with Deryk here. You will need to be careful if you do decide to move, your hen may abandon the nest. It is certainly up to you though! You know your chickens best.

    Rabbit’s Toenail

Hm. Definitely, put some styptic powder on it to help stop any bleeding still occurring. I would put some disinfectant on it as well. Your rabbit should be fine though. One of mine lost a whole toenail once, and she is fine! As long there is no bleeding/infection she should be fine.
