Mum had 2 week old chicks and wants to join the flock

Hi, my mums have always returned to the flock with baby after a week or so as I have always been anxious about leaving it too late and then the flock not accepting them... either way I’ve never had an issue but I would supervise for an amount of time to make sure they aren’t aggressive towards...

What is my hen dying of? Please help

From my reading it seems hernia or peritonitis are the likely diagnosis. Which unfortunately do not have treatment options. fibgers crossed! Triple C is an AB which if it is infection may help. It's $85/500g

I hope they can all get on :( the dorkings are absolutely beautiful girls, and yes the reds are brutes! They are already doing the chest bump to each other (the two reds) So far there has been no direct aggression, but I will watch closely, thankyou :)[

They're so interesting to watch aren't they! This is the first time I've seen them roost as they usually all sleep in a small area on the ground huddles up. But as they're growing they are changing. I spend way to much time observing! Addicted to my chooks!

Hi! I've been watching my chickens... they are 7-10 weeks... and very interesting! ;) I'm trying to figure out the pecking order- purely for interest. I have two dorkings who typical to their breed are docile. I then have RIR and RIRxSUSSEX they are bossy! Today I checked on them and they were...

1 week old pullets with 7 month old pullet?

I know very little but from my understanding of introduction, it's great to have them separated by wire fencing so they can see and hear each other for a couple of days. I'd maybe wait until youre happy for the chicks to freerange and introduce them formally on neutral ground. I picked up four...

Hello, I just want to update anyone following. I gave my little dorking apple cider vinegar in water over two/theee days... during isolation her pooh returned to normal, and her behaviour too! I returned her to the flock and she started to have mild symptoms return. I was worried so had...
