    Shes still kickin...just alot of head bobbin..the poor girl..when my dog got her out of the woods, she ran right for me! I picked her up and she didnt make a peep, until she saw the dogs again..then she started screaming..thats how I know if was a fox. Maybe ill make myself a really cool hat...

    With Blues you get Black,white and splashes.. Altho..when blue is bred to buff you get a beautiful mix of buff and blue feathers..so I guess it might be consider a splash?!!

    Wish I could join you guys at the north salem chicken thingy.. its just to long of a trip for me! I havnt started incubating yet but am excited cause all or most of my girls are now laying! Even my 8 year old Silver Spangled hamburg hen laid an egg this morning! Last year she went broody too!

    LS the plug is generally suppose to be taken out on lockdown..but you can incubate with the plug open the hole time..I leave it out most of the time. as long as i can keep humidity levels steady. I have read is helps the chicks get more oxygen.. Everyone has their own ways!
