My hen Sneeze is to old to roost. I've had a hard time finding a good beding solutions though. She needs to sleep on somthing soft or she gets blisters. The vet told me to use wood chips, well Sneeze HATES woodships I found. When she found them in to coop she made anxios clucks and chose to...
First off, I can't take her to the vet, dad doesn't take chickens to the vet, I dotn have money.
My old hen sits alot and has developed a brest blister. It had started healing once I cured her bumble foot but as she's gotten older it's come back. Its formed into something much like bumble foot...
Yesterday I removed the bumble from my hens foot, I soaked it for half and hour. I'm not sure I did it right, no yellow stuff came out. Here is the photo from a day after it was taken out. Don't mind the V shaped mark, it's just from the bandage. Will this heal now or do I need to do more?

Does this mean...

One of my Orpington hens has an issue with her crop. It's always swollen and she is very skinny, presumably some sort of blockage, she's been like this for a few years and when it get's really bad I forc drain it, like you would if she'd eaten moldy grass clippings, but in a few days it's back...
