I incubated mosaic eggs and got...mosaics! But also one mystery. I figure it’s not a welsummer or crested cream legbar because the keg color isn’t right and there’s no crest.
but it’s got the eye stripes and brown pattern...hmm..thoughts? Are Easter eggers the only green legged option???
These were gifted to me and I have no idea what breed they are or if they’re boys or girls. They look like they are feathering out white. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I’ve hatched many silkies and these guys, especially the showgirl , seem small, slow to feather and have non existent puffs.
They’re perfectly healthy and get feed and scrambled eggs.
1) do they seem a normal size to you for 3.5 weeks?
2) does lack of puff growth more likely than not mean...
It’s not golden enough to be buff, it doesn’t have the stripes of a partridge. It’s a pleasant light brown with gray when you look underneath the brown. What color will it be?
The second pic shows the joint on her second leg being literally at least twice as wide as the other leg. A broken leg is unlikely because the problem is the gigantic joint not a leg bone and also because it has come on gradually over the course of a month, not all of a sudden like an acute...

Oh and I forgot to mention she does have feathered legs but I can see that someone cut all the feathers off. Either because they were dirty or matted (she was incredibly dirty when she came to me)Or because they were treating the scaly leg my and wanted to see what they were dealing with...
