    What breed is this?

I got her as an egg from a friend and incubated her myself. I’ll try asking what sort of eggs she gave me. (There were quite a large variety of eggs she gave me so it will be hard to tell)

HELP: umbilical cord still attached to egg and chicken

I’m guessing her yolk sack broke inside her egg because she came out with yolk on her back but she must’ve absorbed most of it before the sack broke.

HELP: umbilical cord still attached to egg and chicken

The one with the unabsorbed yolk is fully out of its shell. It hatched with yolk and blood on its neck and back. It looks healthy and fine. I just don’t know when to put it in the brooder. Also I’m pretty sure she has pasty butt. Does anyone know how to fix that?

NEED HELP: baby chick can’t walk on one leg

Update: I think it is more of a hip problem. I gave it a brace on the first day because it had splayed leg and now it’s legs are underneath it but its hip is still angled upward.
