Looks like she somehow got a hold of a soup bone so there's a few pieces that blocked everything up. They gave her stuff and now we just have to wait and keep an eye on her while she tries to pass it.
The vet suggested boiled chicken, plain rice, and pure pumpkin to give her in case she does eat.
Keep my dog in your thoughts. We're trying to see which vet can see her for constipation. It's currently just a minor thing but she started vomiting today.
Lot of vets don't seem to be available but we're still calling
I once tried to explain to someone in a feed store about how culling doesn't automatically mean killing the bird and they kept saying how that wasn't true and that it was killing the bird and not rehoming them. I was like 'What? Is this person for real?' 🤣
I really need to remember videoing when I'm feeding the flock scraps because Chicken Nugget is such a funny little cockerel 😂
He decided he wasn't waiting on me to toss a piece and instead he flew up, stole a piece, then ran off with the others chasing him
Just want to say if anyone ever passes through Battle Ground, WA at any point in the future, I highly recommend checking out Rabbit Hole Eatery & Coffee.
Anything they don't sell by the time they close gets donated to the food bank. Everything is made by scratch.
Glad to see you posting after being gone a while!
Probably not the time to ask but if in the spring time you happen to have hatching eggs available again, can you let me know? I'm still hoping to buy some from you
Keep my grandmother(mom's side) in your thoughts! Her 17 yr old Yorkie named Johnny passed sometime during the night. We already had plans to put him to sleep as he was suffering and in pain but he decided to go peacefully
Not sure if I had actually made a clear point on the pullet that mama hen raised from July 'til now but I finally rehomed her yesterday.
Mama hen seemed a bit down in the afternoon but quickly went back to her grumpy self by bed time.
Like I've said before, I originally never planned to keep her...
