Lol i relate! I have some younger Cochin chickens who just huddle in the corner or sit together on top of the trashcan we keep our feed in!
Ive had some of my silkies do the same thing, but i don't worry about it. As long as they're safe and have someone to sleep next to. They usually get around...
My hen has been weak and lethargic for the last 3 or 4 days.
She either lays on her side in one spot all day, or she'll stand up like a penguin. I found her outside the coop a couple days ago, leaning against a cinder block, and she's been in my room ever since.
She spent her entire day...
i can definitely see that being a possibility. There are so many similar looking breeds that it's difficult to tell what he could be with no information on him other than his looks lol
I know it's been a few months but here he is now.
I have no idea how his frostbite has gotten so bad, but here he is in natural lighting. I feel so bad

I think Im going to try that! I actually crocheted a sweater for her once but everyone else freaked out and was terrified of it. So I think I might try making a white chicken saddle. Thank you!

She randomly started losing feathers on her back this summer and now it's like it is today. I always thought that this happened because other hens were...
He's pretty much back to normal now. His only problems are that (im assuming old) nits are still stuck on the feathers around his face and neck. He's still doing this weird thing all the time, too, and I really just have no idea what it is or why he's doing it.
Hey, I just wanted to update you all on the situation!
He seems to be acting generally normal again. He's crowing like normal and roosting now.
He still keeps his head down at times and falls while moving his head, but I'm almost certain that it's because of his lice. He has a lot of nits on the...
