Thank you and I am new to the chicken world. I have had ducks a long time but just started with chickens. Someone had told me that a guinea and chicken can cross breed. That is why I asked that because I had guineas at the time the eggs were laid.

I have a silky chicken that sat on a clutch of mixed eggs. By mixed I mean I have RR hen, red comet hen, a gray hen, and a white silky hen all lain in the same nest and the silky sat and hatched them. This is one of the ones that hatched. Oh and my roosters are game roosters that someone gave me.

Yes that is a male I have a male just like that.

I have 36 little ones I am still trying to sell around here at home.

No they never hatched anything so going to start over. They won’t stay on the nests for some reason they keep getting up and staying outside with the others.

My progress so far. I ordered a temperature, humidity, and egg turning controller from Amazon. Looks promising. I also have three fans in it circulating the air for even temps. I have a 100w light bulb for first stage heat and one coil out of a space heater with one of the fans for secondary...

Hey folks how’s things been? Sorry for the absence been busy at work and home a lot. I put my ducklings that I kept in a look but no touch pen yesterday with my grown ducks. Everyone seemed to not mind them.
