hi. it’s day 24 (out of 21) and 5 of 7 bantam silkies hatched right on time. one of them is a yolker because he stood straight up in the water. this one seemed to be at an angle. am i just hopeful when i see it this way, or could the chick still be alive? *the orange line shows where the air sac is

so i took off the outer shell and put vaseline on the inner. after waiting a little bit, it looks like there’s still vessels with blood in them. what do y’all think?

haha it was a breeze! i felt like the incubator did all the work... for my first batch it was a lot easier than i thought. what do y’all think i should do for my last egg. i can’t tell if he wants out or not:idunno
