We have in the past created a velcro collar for the roos. It's a short term solution, but it makes them uncomfortable, and won't crow as often.
I hope they find a great new home, soon....
We are on day 21 also, lots of movement the last couple days, and now nothing.... We are hatching silkies though, and I think I've read that they seem to take longer then the normal 21 days. I dunno.... out of the 11 eggs set, only 2 were viable. :(
Awe.... I probably would do the exact same thing. Were the chicks able to bump into the egg, or was it separated.
I have never hatched larger fowl before, so I have no idea for the timelines and humidity levels. But, if it did hatch, I would think it would be lonely. It would probably be best...
