Help! My chicken is egg bound or sick!
She last laid an egg yesterday but I have been noticing her eggs have become longer and strangely shaped. They also have very thin shells. What is a fecal float? I am new to owning chickens so I haven't heard of this before. Lastly, we want to take her to the vet but the only vet that can help...- Darcy H.

Soft shells for 3 weeks
We try to give them organic crumble that we add seeds and corn to. All of my other girls lay regular eggs. We do give a bit of treats but they are mostly fruit or veggie scraps.- Darcy H.

Recently I went outside to find my red Sexlink with a very deep cut on her comb. It looked like someone got a knife and cut her but of course we did not do that.
