    Two more EEs laying! This is a mix up of all my girls' eggs. I have EEs (Americanas), Comets, and a Welsummer. She's the one with the speckled egg. Today I even found an "EYEBALL EGG!!!". I don't know what happened to it but I found it this afternoon in their play castle tower.

    Totally agree. Sharpies have alcohol or some other solvent in the ink to make it dry fast. Just smell them! I wouldn't want that on any of my eggs.

    I thought long and hard about how to date my breakfast eggs and decided that a regular graphite (they're not made of lead anymore) pencil would be best. There's no liquid ink with all the chemicals and there's no smell, as well as no chance of anything seeping through the shell.

    I love the old West look of this chicken coop. It looks like somebody's hideout! Photos of the build are interesting. The stove pipe feeder is very ingenious in keeping with the design theme and the covering on the perch area walls looks easy to clean. Chickens look like they would be safe...

    Need to see the insides! I like all the outdoor space of this coop--the more, the better. Looks sturdy and secure. Would be good in Winter to throw a couple of tarps on the weather side of the run. Nice!

    I like this coop OK for a small flock of 4 or 5. It's built well and sturdy. I'd rather see more horizontal space, however, if you only have a few chickens, this might be fine with enough perches.

    This coop looks like a cozy little vacation cabin in the woods! Appears to be quite solid, with real windows and doors, comfortable, secure and cute. I like the nesting box set up.

    This coop looks good for Florida. It's nice and open, looks easy to clean and appears secure with basic accommodations for a small flock. I think I'd like something with a little more protection from the weather, if it weren't in a tropical climate.
