Does Cloth Fencing Exist?

Is that deer netting made of nylon webbing or plastic mesh? I can't seem to find a good image online.

That's the stuff I use. Definitely plastic. You don't even have to use the whole 7 feet of height, my chickens won't touch it at about 3.5 feet tall (it's folded over). Word of warning: EVERYTHING gets stuck in it, and the individual mesh fibers are weak. But it's lightweight, the wind won't take it, and you can use anything to hold it up.

I use deer netting to keep my chickens out of parts of the yard. It's 7 feet by 100 feet; 15 or 20 dollars at the orange home improvement place. It's too flimsy for them to attempt to perch and fly over, so they don't get out. Landscape or construction "cloth" netting I've seen smaller chickens actually land on, not sure I would use that.

Hey, PorchChickens! I, too, am using this deer-x netting to extend my wire fence height to 7' and keep chickens from poking their heads through and getting em bit off but I'm just a bit worried...have you ever had a chicken get tangled in it? Mine's fastened pretty well to the wire fence. Works great. I was just wondering if you'd had any problems with it.
