Phoebus has the right idea....head to the local pet smart, supply plus, sense, and grab up their bags full of cuts....they throw them away anyway....free bags full of deterrent
So I started pullin the feed at around 6 when i get home.....cut my feed down by over 800lbs for the year. And the ladies dont seem to mind. The do get greens, scratch grain, mealworms/crickets every morning so kinda spoiled. But they roost up shortly after I pull the feeders anyway so...no real...
I can tell ya....pulling the feed around 6 or so.....pretty much eliminates the mice consumption part. Cause ive seen a mouse try to make it across a coop will 14 RIRs in it.....yeeeeeah....... Was like the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" kinda almost for a brief second felt bad for the mouse

Id say RIR for the darks and ya have 2 Cornish X Rocks in the white two. Prolly 4 weeks old and on a low protein feed. The breed needs a 24% starter and at least 20% grow/finisher. Thatll get them feathered out all pretty and give ya the meat they are know for.
Rancher kinda insinuates I do it for profit.....i give away everything I grow....birds and a three acre garden as well. Plus eggs out my wazooooooo....the local food kitchen gets the majority of their fress food stuffs from us free of charge.....cant give away enough ro eat up what we grow
