After a bad start with having to euthanise 2 of the chicks and most dead in egg, I have 2 that survived
they are 17 days old now and are flying
they often fly out the brooder into the plastic greenhouse I have. Quite fast for being chicks. Quite fun trying to catch and put back into brooder
here...

chicks are doing fine, eating and drinking
they were a bit unsure at first but now ok
everywhere the first born gors the other follows
how can you tell which is female and which is male?
I don't have a dryer or wallmart. I am in the uk
I can try get a halogen bulb today.
the chicks seem fine. Running round etc
I put them back in incubator then bring them out to run round but just take them out for to have a drink
I should get the brooder kit yoday or tomorrow
They are shaking in tray. The bulb is only 7w not warm enough for them
it would be too drafty in bird cage for them .
just wish I had got everything in before theyhatched
