yeah I'm not sure how the barn siding will hold up. So far though this coop is what I needed.
I'm thinking of keeping this coop in the barn so that its not rained on and then putting my rabbit hutch ( the chickens LOVE it) out side.
The final touches will have to wait till next pay day...
Money is tight and well chickens aren't a priority as far as the budget goes. We though needed a coop for a flock that I was given.

1st day building. I used free pallets from carter lumber.

Thank you! I *think* the hen has been laying but the eggs have been an off white. So that confirms it. She is a sweet easy going hen and I enjoy her. The rooster doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body but he loves his ladies
