    I got my eggs from my dad and best friend but didn't mark which ones came from where....I have three black ones, I'm thinking the one with the stripe on his head might be a rooster. Anyone know what they are or if they are boys or girls?

    Mine were all hatched here at my home, but this one was almost two days later than the first, I'm thinking that may have something to do with it.

    That was an enlightening experience. I noticed yesterday what looked like dried poop on one of my babies' backside. I didn't find out until today that it was pasty butt. Luckily I was able to get it cleaned off, but now I'm worried I didn't catch it soon enough.
