Medicated feed will not kill your chickens. It is not organic per USDA standards but in my personal opinion, it is the best option in prevention of coccidias infecting and killing off your flock. It is your choice either way.

Are the Pilgrim fast to mature? The ones I have will hatch in the spring and are on a nest in the winter laying eggs... I like that! They are not overly aggressive except while nesting and with little goslings but still are not chasing anybody, just want you to keep a safe distance from them and...

When we moved here there was a ton of weeds and we were told to get goats... not how many, what kind or anything like that but just to get goats... 2 years later we have these two 'free' girls and know nothing about them except they had a damn good life before moving...
