I am hoping to be able to tell them apart easier... I can reliably identify one hen right now... I did read that about leghorns, I currently don't intend to breed them (being white eggs I can avoid brooding them), but I thought I would give them a shot.

I am trying to get my thermostat set for the correct temperature and I know 99.5 is the desired resting temperature.
Now, my thermostat has a small range when in use, about three degrees. Where should I place that range? 97-100? 98-101? 99-102?
No...? *Investigates 'show chickens...* Most assuredly not. They look nice and behave after being caught, but they like running around and scratching too much to pay much attention to me.
If I have a broody hen with babies she has hatched, will she adopt more if I gave them to her?
