They only like me sometimes. And only for a short period. I’m trying to hangout with them as much as possible to get them used to me. They are so cute.
That’s what I was thinking too. They are hatched outside. I think I’ll bring mine out in a few more days. They are still in a bit of shock. Well, two of them, one is very protective of the other two. Wonder if it’s a roo
Thanks so much. I’m excited to see them run around in the grass. They already want to peck around in the house, but obviously there isn’t anything to peck at other than their feed.
I’ve totally thought about the stuffed animal all ready! I don’t want it to be lonely. But, I have a second one that just hatched. Hoping the 3rd is right behind it.
Hello,
This is my first hatch. I'm hatching 5 Silkie chicken eggs. Only one chick has hatched. I have some others rolling around and pipping but this lil one seems so lonely. Should I take it out?
I have 5 silkie eggs in the bator and one has hatched. No others have pipped or anything. Today is day 21! Do I leave it in there and wait on others or take it out and put it in brooder? Is there a chance others will still hatch.
First timer incubating. I went into lockdown this morning and added water before we left. When I came back home the hygrometer read 77% humidity. Is this ok or do I need to lower it? In order to lower it I would have to remove the eggs to remove some water.
These are in an incubator. What about the eggs that you can see the embryo but no veins? Is that ok? I’m a first timer and I’m so stressed about them all!
