My rouen just started sitting on 23 eggs full time May 18th, can I expect ducklings around the middle of June?

Yes, I heard that the Male could kill the ducklings. Will separate when it gets closer, right now she still isnt nesting after laying 16 eggs. I'm beginning to think she may not lay on them at all.

I only have the pair. It's just her and the drake together.

She is sitting on them now, I locked them in their run and not letting them free range. Hopefully this will help

I have a pair of 1 year old ducks and they will not let my 3 chickens in the coop to lay anymore. As soon as a chicken goes in the coop, the drake will rush in and chase them out. Im guessing the female is going to start laying but wasnt expecting them to kick the chickens out. Any ideas...

Got a couple of ducks, (I was fortunate enough to get a hen and a drake first time (he is just now getting beautiful colors :) and several chickens.
