Yes they could be out of Dan Powells' lines. But the first pick you posted were to poor quality birds. Should not be used as breeders of the breed. And should be in a stew pot. The price for the chicks are fine for any run of the mill chick. But don't expect breeder quality chicks.
Roxann there is a gentleman in Thayer, Mo that is hatching out some Gold Lace Brahmas, if you prefer to pick up your own vs shipping
his number is 417 264 3388
Out of some 500 chicks I raised I sold him the best of the pullets and crockrels I had left this spring.
I have 2 broody hens that I would love to get some eggs under ASAP. I could come by and pick up a dozen today 5-7 if that would be OK.

The wife and I worked all day Friday getting the pen area prepped. Put in a 100' x 20' compost bed. Today is raining and tommorrow don't look much better. Hopefully the fence will start going up Monday. Fingers crossed.
congrats on the purchase. I couldn't pull things together to get this trio. But will be looking forward to getting some soon. Beautiful Birds Dan.
I'll be coming up from Ga. to see ya.
A couple of questions. I just bought 4 adult Brahmas yesterday. A rooster and 3 hens. 1st last night I went to check on them to see if they were adapting well to their new coop and they were all on the ground and not on the roost is this typical for Brahamas?
2nd the Rooster has not crowed I...
