I have a chick with a foot where she is walking on it with the toes curled under. It doesn’t seem to bother her at all but is there something I can do to straighten out the toes so she walks correctly?
I’ll look into the Caltrate, thanks! No respiratory symptoms, no recent stressors and it is not super hot here yet. She used to lay perfect eggs. I am just at a loss. I also read apple cider vinegar might help with calcium absorption?
I have one Black Copper Maran (she is only about 10 most old) who recently (on/off last 6 mos) started laying thin shelled eggs; sometimes so thin they are practically not there. I have 9 hens and all get same diet of layer feed with added oyster shells and their own shells back, afternoon...
After everything I have learned here, I am almost positive this is a male but i wanted to double check before I rehome him. Sorry these aren’t the best pictures. If I need to I can post more tomorrow but I have someone who wants him and I want to be sure before I let him go. Here are pics of his...
I have two roosters I need to rehome. Both are 16 wks old, and very docile at this point. Only rehoming because we don’t need 5 roosters:) Both came from a group with Americaunas and Olive Eggers (what I was told). Beautiful

So sorry! I think I posted the photos
Thank you for the reply! Shoot, the farm store had them as Cuckoo Marans but I’ll take them as Easter Eggers for sure! Hoping then, that the brown one is a female.
Hello! I have two marans and curious if the black (gray?) one is a male. We purchased them in early May, if I remember correctly, as chicks. She has not made any attempt to crow but was picked on terribly by a former rooster of ours when she was smaller. Thinking male bc of tail feathers? Or too...
