    Feeding...

I have a coop with 5 chickens.. I feed them daily but when I go out they come running like they are starved. Is this normal? Are they starving or just excited to eat? When they start eating they go crazy, they are eating a grower mix. Should I be feeding something else maybe? Thanks!

    Adding run..

Yes I plan to take up wire on floor, not sure why it's there. Few rotted pieces of wood I will replace. The roof is waterproof.. I will figure something out for apron possibly. I want expecting HWC to cost so much. When I started to plan everything I had assumed chicken wire would be good...

    Adding run..

So I was given this run from a friend. It obviously needs a few repairs but structurally it's great.. the wire on this seems large to me but will it work? Will I have to worry about things getting in? I can't wait to fix it up and let the girls out Thanks!

    Adding run..

This is great. Thank you. I am not sure of size yet.. was planning to go bigger than I really need as I have the space to do so. I wl probably opt for the hardware cloth.. was looking for cheaper ways but I don't want to lose any of my chickens. Thanks again for the advice

    Adding run..

Hello there, Looking to add a run to my coop and wondered what's best used to enclose it. I used chicken wire on coop for airways. I'd prefer to keep with chicken wire but wanted to ask recommendations first.. Thanks!

    Show off your diy coop!

I haven't finished.. there's a window on back and vents on both sides. Need to add nesting boxes and make a run.. but they can get to the bottom of coop and so far they love it..
