Ive found a stock pellet feed at atwoods. I've been feeding to my chickens, they also free range. The feed is $6.99 for a 50 pound bag. Anyone else feeding this?
Is all I see...I am missing 5 of my chickens. Something came into the coop last night and tore down the heat lamp. I am locking em in from now on...didn't close the door last night. My favorite EE "Sugar" is one missing. Only bright side, I sat 56 eggs friday. About 8 of those are "sugar's"...
It's a good thing for DH that I don't have more incubator space....I want to set more eggs I've got 56 in the 2 LG incubators now, due to hatch on 23 Dec. I'm thinking in 2 weeks I'll start saving eggs for another hatch. That way I'll have eggs ready to go in when everyone is moved out of...

I set mine this afternoon!! 56 total, 6 BCM, 8 cuckcoo marins that were shipped. The rest are my bunch...cochins, silkies, sussex, leghorns, EE...I can't wait to see all these babies!!!

I set my bator tonight, I have a delimma though I ended up with 56 eggs, and only 41 spots in my turner. I just put the 15 extras on top so they will still kinda rotate. Or should I just put the 15 in a paper egg carton and stick them in my other bator that is on and at a steady temp?? I...
