I'm a bit new to raising chickens, so this may seem like a dumb question :) I have one hen that's laying and one that hasn't begun yet. For the past couple of days, neither has left the nesting box, and the non laying hen seems to be "protecting" the other hen. What's happening?

Good! The eye is better. They'll be 6 weeks and I don't know whether to put them outside or not. My buff has grown but the blue not so much.

I can't, in California most medication is prescription only. They only carry wound cleaner, corid and vetrx.

Yes. People with no luck with Tylan seemed to have Duramycin 10 work. But I can't find it anywhere online!

I saw another thread where Tylan didn't work for them, but Duramycin did. Thoughts? I could order it tonight.

Yeah, I already tried to treat it with Tylan. I just want to know if there's anything else I can do to help them, or another antibiotic that may work.

Update: had cloudy gray bubbles in eyes and audible breathing

I got worried so I brought her inside to check, it may of just been bubbles. But she IS breathing audibly, should i start using VetRX again?

When I went in tonight, her eye was gray. Not all over, just in the corner. I can add a picture in the morning, it's too dark right now.
