I set up red lights inside the coop. It seems to make them feel safer than going into a dark ‘room’. Sometime before dusk (or if storms are coming) I call them and they enter, happy to get some meal worm treats.

Hi @R2elk - We have 5 royal purple guineas. I'm noticing that their back feathers are actually dulling compared to their iridescent purple of the last 6 months. Any ideas on what's going on? Thanks!

Our royal purple guineas are 10 months old. In the last week I've noticed that their backs are becoming duller in color, more toward a brown color. Wing feathers are still dark purple. Is this a symptom of a problem? Thanks!
