I just wanted to say that I would fence in around the bottom of the coop to keep predators out from under there. Especially at night. Also depending on where you are a coop in the air is going to be cold in the winter months.
The waterer, it just twists off. Should turn easy. Hold the white part, turn the red. Or vice versa. Should be little 'clips' for the jug bottom to slide into
I have blue azures, blue eggs, cornish rock crosses, light and darker brown, and speckled brown, barn yard mixes, off white, and speckled, and currently have chick Norian, and white leg horns, hopefully will get dark chocolate from the Norians and white from the leg horns.

I have suspected that they would go after small living creatures, but have never witnessed it. I am assuming they would only if they were hungry. They fly over my chickens, and look at them but keep going, but I also have a flock of guinea fowl with my chickens, which may be a deterrent.
