    You need to separate them a bit they will end up drawing blood, I needed to take the male out and then after separating females that were badly pecked and treating them I reintroduced them to the flock after the male was not in their common place and it stopped.

    I took many of these suggestions and added to the pen, I also have a raised 6x8 coop and put a lot of soil under it and basically it seems like a sand box to them, so they are doing better. They get a spiked head of cabbage to play with often and a 1/4 melon or cantalope daily.
