    yes.since my hen has no roost except board outside of nest box, she poops where she lays egg, but I always clean it up before egglaying time.

    yes, I bought a plastic tub that fits right under the coop.My hubby is getting sand today. Is it necessary to mix wood ash? Don't know where I can get that.
