No change yet.... every monrning there are more feathers around the run, although his neck looks fine. -

We will try this. But as of this morning, she's been pulling his neck and back. Feathers have come out. It's exhausting and kind of heartbreaking to watch. -

She’s always making sure she is in between him and the rest of the flock, then biting at his neck and charging at him. And when he is laying down with the other drakes, she always has to be by him. It’s almost like she’s being over protective of him? But is being mean about it - so strange -

I have some pics and videos! Her vent looks dry, and isn’t seeping that clear drainage, but she’s still expelling a lot of the clear, with particles in it. Update: So, I woke up this morning, with Sophia out of the pen, and in our kitchen eating the cat food. (Who knows how she got out, as she is a flightless runner- lol). She was standing up right, following me around and quacking like usual. In her pen, she had laid a soft shell egg. Is that what...- JessWolo

Hi all! I am new to raising ducks, and have 4 female runners, they are about 15 weeks old. We have a large pond in our backyard where we let them free range. We have about 7-12 wild mallards that also enjoy our pond. They get along just fine. My runners like to follow the mallards everywhere...
