I live in Northern Minnesota back in the woods - I have 4 snowblowers and the little electric one works just fine - I use it around the coop where the bigger ones won't fit. If I do get heavier snows I just blow it off in layers - Got mine at Home Deot
Thanks for all your replies and help - My coop ended up to be 20 x 8 with a cozy nesting area, electricity and insulated with a 30x30 run, I'm thinking of about 15 chickens for a fun hobby, if I get more eggs than we can eat I'll just give them to neighbors - Thanks all for your help
