    It's bigger than it looks. I realize now that there's nothing in the picture to use as reference. After double checking, the bars are not exactly, but closer to 1 inch than 3/4ths, and the size is 16 in deep, 20 in tall and 25 in wide. I think I will look for a different cage though regardless...

    I'm trying to figure out if this cage will work. It has 1 inch bar width and will budgies really get stuck in there? It just seems too small. I'd appreciate some opinions, the size is so good for a budgie cage, nice and wide.

    They did hatch fine, and I actually had a very successful hatch otherwise. They're happily chirping away behind me in my computer room, so I get to turn and see them snoozing or eating or playing. Makes the sad feel better to see them healthy.

    Still waiting for these last two eggs... To keep everyone happy though, I put some sweet grass in the brooder with the babies. They immediately began scratching and then promptly fell asleep in it.
