    Freaked out was when my daughter and I were fishing at dusk on the neighbor's bridge and a coyote growled at us. It wanted to have access to the river for a drink or wanted to cross the bridge. Needless to say we took off pretty quickly. We never saw it but we sure heard it.

    Possums love eggs. They will eat those before a chicken. A month ago on a cold night the chickens refused to go into coop. Found a huge male possum sleeping in the girls favorite box and no eggs. Needless to say we eliminated him.

    I miss my bird feeders

    I can't put them out. The raccoons are so thick out here that they eat it all in 1 night. Instead I through a little chicken scratch in yard for birds.

    What kind of bantam is this?

    I got this Lil cutie today. Anyone know what kind of bantam she/he is? I either see lacing or Columbian pattern.and yellow is turning white. It's name is Boo. We also got a red cross and Jersey Giant chick. They will join our 9 hens and giant Lavender Orpington when they get older.
