I just got two blue silkie bantam chicks. My current flock are all standard size hens, sex links, production reds, barred rock, and light brahmahs. The barred rock and brahmas were my second set of chicks I raised and I had no issues intergrading them with my first flock which are the sex links...
He seems to be acting normal. I examined his wing and the tip joint (not sure of proper name) is very swollen/hard and the wing doesn't stretch out normally.
My roo damaged his wing while in the coop. I was wondering if there is anything I can do to help him. I thought maybe I could trim his flight feathers to relieve some weight but I'm not sure if it would help. Any suggestions?
