    Eggs are nice, but feathers will do. My hen's still laying, but coming up on her 4th birthday. I'm definitely interested in taking a couple of yours... are you in Duluth? Or orrock?

    Great info, Coop and Acre. The run is covered and fenced, so the survivor is (hopefully) safe. She laid a half-formed egg yesterday and didn't really leave the nesting box, but was moving around a little this morning. I'm working on getting her some new roommates. Thanks.

    Surviving Minnesota!

    Hi. New to the site. We let our three three-year-old hens out to free range a bit yesterday afternoon, and a fox attacked. Only one survived. Anybody in the Twin Cities area looking to relocate a hen or two? Our sole survivor is going to need some company.
