    Layena, To use or not to use?

    I use Purina layers Crumbles as well. The one time the feed store was out of crumbles, I figured pellets would be fine. They didn't touch them, until I crushed them all up into crumbles. Yep, they are spoiled rotten just like the dogs, cats, and human kids.

    One of my hens is limping

    No obvious buising or discoloration. She does try to put weight on it. She has two 1 day old hatchlings. She is protective of the hatchlings. She seems to enjoy watching TV. She is limping along her two hatchings follow her and mommy is making sure they getting enough food and water. .
