Well voice sexing may be harder on this one. It was attacked by an opossum awhile back and seemed to have lost its voice for awhile. Everyone here at BYC helped me keep it alive when I was in a panick.

I was trying to go by quack and this ones is quieter and more raspy than the peking.

Do they usually molt this young? Do yall think it's a drake? Will he turn completely gray or just look crazy for a bit then turn back to how he looked before?

Nope, this pic is shortly after we got him.

Can any one tell me why this duck is turning grey/blue? We bought it in the spring at tractor supply. Its suppose to be cayuga. Pretty sure by voice it's a he. I dont know anything about ducks.

It really is! I know it sounds crazy but if I have to bring her in every night from now on, I will. I just hope she can live a more normal chicken life.

Thank you! I forgot to mention, I did give vit b for a couple of weeks. I put it in her morning food/meds mix. After awhile she stopped eating it. She acted like she didnt like it. I stopped the vit b and she starting eating breakfast again. I give her a 400iu vit e capsule squirted on her food...
