does anyone know what to do. one of my chukar's started to swell covering one of its eye. the whole eye ball was completing covered by a layer of skin or something. i thougt he was forsure blind. then today, i notice that the skin that cover the eye is gone. his eye is watery. should i rines it...
my chukar just hatch this morning from incubating. the chick is still wet. my question are, what do i do now? do i leave the chick in the incubator to dry or doi set th chick in a box with a light over it to keep it warm
my chukar eggs have been incubating for 3 weeks now. when i try candling the eggs, i can not see anything. the egg shell is too dark. how can i tell if the egg is fertile???
thank you. i had total of 12 eggs and all is infertile. my mom gave my birds some feeds that was suppose to help them lay eggs. thats how i came up with the infertile eggs. out of the 12, one shows spider web. we shall see what happens in a few days. thanks again
Today is day 17th and I can not see any veins inside when candling the eggs. Half the egg is dark and the other is light. Do I have rotten eggs? They dont stink, I open one yesterday because I was curious and all I saw was yoke and two black balls. Am I doing something wrong???

I dont have humidity thermostats in the incubating; I just have a regular thermostat and it is 99 degree. From my description I gave, half egg dark and the other light, is the egg still okay?
