That's a good idea. It looks a lot sturdier than my brother's "tractor", which is made entirely out of pvc. I could probably figure out how to put nest boxes in it in a way that would not make it too heavy. Hey, with those, I could even keep the breeds separate!

I have seen the lovely, big coops on this site, studied every detail, and planned a coop of our own. I had planed a 12x12 shed, on a concrete pad, surrounded by a 36x36 run, because I plan to expand to maybe 60 birds for my egg business. The shed probably should be bigger, but we certainly could...
*GASP* Wow! I wish mine could turn out half as well, but my dad doesn't believe in spending money on chickens! Anyway, that thing is amazing, inside and out!
Cindiloohoo, I live in Natchitoches, been to the gator farm! Cool place. And yes, I definitely would not like owning an animal I could not handle with my bare hands, not a good idea!
Hello from the bayou state! I have about 40 birds, EEs, RIRs and WLs. (I say "about", most of the hens are not named, and there has been a fox around...) Also I have two red quarter horses, two mutt dogs, a cat, and a rabbit.
