my 2 1/2 month old girls sleep like this at night! they all pile on top of eachother in the same nest box! We built them such nice roost posts, I hope someday they learn to use them.

The upper left box already has 2 girls inside, and the white is trying to get in with them! Yeah, they always want what the other one has...hmmm, reminds me of my kids sometimes!

I love these pics. I need to take a pic of mine. They do the same thing, we have 6 hens and 7 boxes (hubby got carried away with making them) and they all lay in one box. Which ever the first hen picks for the day it is.

Yesterday I had two girls fighting. A BO was already in the box and a Brahma girl wanted to be there. The BO kept biting her but the Brahma refused to leave. I thought I was about to see a cat fight, so I moved the Brahma.
