hi! I am worming my chickens currently. Can the eggs still be consumed? Doing the 5 day safeguard treatment, following dosing directions from this forum. But I can find any post on eating the eggs while deworming, only on if eggs have worms (ewww)!
The vet took blood on Tuesday and called today, and said everything was normal, except some count was high, showing she had parasites. And I said, okay, but you dewormed her on Tuesday, and she said yes but I would still like to examine her poop, to know the type of parasite she has.
She was treated on Tuesday.
They called today with her blood results and said she had a high parasite level. I’ve already spend $300 at last visit. So unless it’s completely neccsary to know what “type” of parasite it is, I’d rather not have another $300 bill.
The vet already gave her Panacur. But is now requesting I bring back her poop to examine to see what type of parasite she has. I’m asking if that nessacery sewing as she’s already dewormed her.
GoodMorning beautiful people!
The vet called this am, and Doctor (duck) has a high parasite level. At our vet visit, she was dewormed. She is also currently on antibiotics. The vet wants a poo sample, to determine the parasite. I just need truthful advice, as I live this duck dearly and want to...
She is still quacking, eating and drinking. She’s off balance when she tries to stand up but can eventually get it. If she goes super slow she can walk some before getting off balancing and falling again. She’s still preening herself. She’s only 4mths old. She isn’t egg bound, I had them check...
Hi guys! I’m back. Anyone ever dealt with botulism?? Know how long it takes for antibiotics to start working? She’s back to being more off balance. I’m still doing niacin and probiotics. I’m just super worried for her.
